Producer Swizz Beatz has opened up about his new marriage to Grammy-winning singer Alicia Keys and how he came to fall in love with her.

From Swizzy’s perspective, they both share a special connection with one another.
“It’s just a feeling,” Swizz said about falling in love with Keys. “Love is a word that’s powerful but the feeling is even stronger…To identify that feeling is something that’s amazing because it doesn’t only come from your partner. It comes from your love for music, your love for people, your love for a lot of things, and I think that once you identify the feeling of love, you’ll be a better person. I’m a better man. I think that having love in your life, it just has that effect. Because then you spread love. You can’t enjoy love without spreading love. I just think that it all falls in the pocket.” (MTV)

It’s not even noon on the West Coast but Timbaland’salready had a heck of a day. TMZ reported earlier today that the Grammy-winning artist went missing after relatives called into police, fearing that he
was contemplating suicide following the theft of his $2 million watch. But after police located Timbo, he called in to 102.7 KIIS FM’s On-Air with Ryan Seacrest to clear up the false suicide report.

“I don’t know what happened. To be honest with you, I don’t even know what people were talking about,” he told Seacrest, claiming that he gets stolen from often and that it wasn’t a watch that was thieved. “The only thing that I did was take a drive to figure out how to handle it.”

“I tell people that if my mom ain’t calling or my brother or my best friend, then ain’t nothing to worry about,” he calmly stated. “Why would I commit suicide? I could buy what was stolen. You know it’s close in your family when it’s things in your house.”

Timbaland called the on-air jockey from the studio, where he is currently finishing up work on Keri Hilson’s upcoming sophomore album.

Grammy-winning producer Timbaland was reportedly detained by police yesterday after his family informed authorities they were worried he may commit suicide.

Details on what went down hit the Internet Wednesday (August 25).
Timbo’s family was nervous that the Virginia native would hurt himself after a $2 million piece of jewelry was stolen. The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department brought out all the stops–a helicopter and squad cars–to try to find the Grammy-winner’s Escalade. After some time, the vehicle was located and Timbo was brought back to his home, where paramedics determined that he did not present a threat to himself or others. (XXL Mag)

Producer Scott Storch reportedly clocked in over six months working on Dr. Dre’s upcoming Detox album and is just now returning to his Florida home.

According to Storch’s manager Derek Jackson, Storch also helped produce the recently unfinished version of Dre and Jay-Z’s “Under Pressure.”
“The reason he’s been a little quiet is because Scott’s been in LA since January working on the Detox,” Jackson revealed in a Gyant Unplugged Show phone interview via Beehive FM with radio personality Gyant. “So he and Dre came back together and a lot of people don’t know why he’s been so quiet…Dre need Scott and Scott needed Dre. So we went out to LA and we’ve been there since January and Scott just moved back about two weeks ago. So now we’re about to get back ready to claim the seat. And let me tell you this, the first single ‘Under Pressure,’ that’s not how it sounds. You all got a real misconstrued version of it and that’s not how it really sounds. That’s how it was in the early stages. [Scott produced it,] but it doesn’t sound like that…Somebody leaked the version of what they just did. We cut the record when we first got there. Dre met Jay in Miami. They cut the vocals, kind of a beat up track, nothing really finished and that’s what the track you guys got.” (Gyant Unplugged)

Def Jam South President DJ Khaled has announced becoming the latest artist to sign a new record deal with Baby’s Cash Money Records.

MTV Video Music Awards 2010 host Chelsea Handler is hoping to reunite rapper Kanye West and country singer Taylor Swift at next month’s ceremony, a year after Ye infamously interrupted Swift onstage while she was accepting the Best Female Video award.

While the idea is merely abstract at this point, Handler is considering how to unite the two after last year’s fiasco.
Speaking to Ryan Seacrest on his KISS-FM radio show Thursday, Handler previewed her emceeing technique and said she hoped to reunite two strange bedfellows: Kanye West and Taylor Swift. “I’d like to get them together,” Handler, 35, told Seacrest. “We’ve never really seen them together since then. They were supposed to be together on SNL, but then that didn’t end up happening…We’ll try to think of something clever to do with them, because that would be really fun.” (PEOPLE)
